Show Me Integrity is Missouri’s only cross-partisan organization reforming our democracy.

We work together across geographic and party lines for a government that is transparent, efficient, & accountable to all the people of Missouri.

We take a structural, community-driven approach to solve systemic problems.

And we get results.

We are united for more effective, ethical government.

Most people are frustrated with unaccountable, inefficient government. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Reformers across Missouri have already passed reforms to clean up politics. Together, we can do more.

Our Work

What We Do:

  • Conduct policy research on national best practices to find solutions to pressing systemic problems across Missouri

  • Convene local stakeholders to decide which approaches work best for our own state

  • Build powerful coalitions that are representative of the constituency affected

  • Pass reforms to achieve a more accountable government

  • Mobilize voters to ensure maximum public participation, civic engagement, and voter turnout

  • Above all, put voters first—not special interests or political insiders

What we’ve accomplished:

  • Worked with the governor’s team to expand secure absentee voting during the pandemic.

  • Built MOVote.org to help 16,000 Missourians securely cast their absentee ballots, with support from Matt Blunt and Jason Kander helping with record voter turnout in the 2020 election during the pandemic.

  • Passed Proposition R for Reform to ban conflicts of interest at the corrupted St. Louis Board of Aldermen, ensuring our leaders put public service before their private dealings in legislation, redistricting and election laws.

  • Passed Prop D to make St. Louis City officials more accountable. We built the Proposition D for Democracy coalition that made St. Louis’s elections nonpartisan. Prop D created an approval voting primary (where you can vote for as many candidates as you approve), followed by a top-two runoff. Gone are the days when 35% in the primary could win an election. Winners must now have the support of a majority of city voters, incentivizing them to focus on issues facing the people instead of divisive political games.

Join our movement for good government today.

Regardless of which party has been in power, Missouri has struggled because of broken governmental and political systems. We are working for Missourians to be able to hold our leaders accountable on major issues facing our residents across rural, urban, and suburban Missouri.

Together, we are achieving accountable, transparent, government for Missourians.
